Slow cookerServes 6Prep 7 minutes3 hours

Serves 6 in about 3 hours. The slow cooker brings mixed vegetables and flour thicken together.
Ingredients
- 2 ½-4 lbs boneless/skinless chicken breasts (or boneless/skinless thighs)
- 2 (.87 oz) packets chicken gravy mix (or brown gravy mix)
- 1 ¾ cups water
- 2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken soup (or 1 chicken and 1 celery)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- ¼ cup flour to thicken (or use instant mashed potatoes at the end)
- ¼-½ teaspoon black pepper
- Frozen mixed vegetables
Method
- Stir in the chicken to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients (including flour, if using).
- Tip in the mixture over the chicken.
- Set the lid on the slow cooker and cook on High for 3-4 hours, or on Low for 6-8 hours. Mix once halfway through.
- Lift out the chicken to a plate and shred it. Then add it back into the crock. You might be able to shred it directly in the crock.
- Plate over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice.
