Slow cookerServes 8Prep 5 minutes3 hours

Serves 8 in about 3 hours. The pot starts with ranch dressing mix, then onions.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breast, (about 4 boneless/skinless breasts)
- 1 (1 oz) pkg ranch dressing mix
- ½ tsp dill weed, dried
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- 3 tsp parsley, chopped (dried or fresh)
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 16 oz cream cheese (2 of the 8 oz blocks)
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 7 slices thick cut bacon, cooked & chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
Method
- Spray the crock with cooking spray.
- Stir in the chicken breasts.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, parsley, and pepper. Scatter over the chicken
- Stir in the cream cheese and the water.
- Set the lid on and cook on Low for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is done and shreddable.
- Use two forks to shred the chicken right in the crock.
- Tip in the cheddar cheese, cooked bacon pieces, and the green onion. Stir. It might seem a little wet, but as you shred and as it cools it will thicken up nicely.
- Plate on buns, as a dip, or any way you like!
