Air fryerServes 4Prep 15 minutes30 minutes

Serves 4 in about 30 minutes. The air fryer brings filet mignon and onion powder together.
Ingredients
- 1 pound filet mignon (or sirloin, ribeye, etc.)
- 1 pound bacon, cut in half (not thick)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Method
- Cut the steak into bite sized pieces (about 1.5-inch cubes).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the oil, salt, pepper, paprika, chili flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in the steak to the bowl and mix well.
- Take each individual steak bite and wrap with bacon. Secure with a toothpick (see article for photos and details).
- Tip in each steak bite to the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd. Simmer at 380°F for 11-15 minutes, depending on how well done you want your bacon and steak. I cooked it for 11 minutes for a medium rare steak*.
- Plate with a dipping sauce, or as is.
