Air fryerServes 2Prep 8 minutes18 minutes

Serves 2 in about 18 minutes. An air fryer recipe built around dill pickle slices and italian seasoning.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dill pickle slices
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Drain the pickles and let them dry on a towel. Pat both sides dry.
- In a small bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch and keep it nearby.
- In another bowl, whisk an egg and keep it nearby.
- In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the pickles into the flour, followed by egg, then the panko breadcrumb mixture.
- Set each coated pickle in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400° F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Optional: Halfway through cooking, open the air fryer and spritz some oil on the pickles. Then continue cooking. This will help them get a little crispier.
- Plate hot with mayonnaise, ranch, or other dip.
